About Combat Guardian: Under Attack

Combat Guardian: Under Attack builds its structure around an unusually literal conceit — fifty levels, one per US state, running alphabetically from Alabama to Wyoming. Each state brings its own terrain, colour palette, and mix of enemies, so the progression has a visible geography to it rather than just escalating numbers. Eight enemy types rotate through those levels: street thugs, rogue agents, traitor soldiers, biker gangs, smugglers, corrupt cops, mercenaries, and bosses. Boss fights arrive every ten states, which breaks the run into five clear acts and gives the fifty-level span some shape. You cannot skip ahead — clearing every enemy in a state is what unlocks the next one, so the campaign is strictly linear. It is a straightforward arcade shooter in its moment-to-moment play, and the appeal is the completionist arc: fifty distinct arenas is a lot of ground to cover, and getting to Wyoming means genuinely working through all of it.

Tips & Tricks

Save your special for the boss states rather than burning it on regular waves — bosses arrive on a fixed schedule every ten levels, so you always know when one is coming and can bank it. Because each state changes terrain and enemy mix together, take the first few seconds of a new level to read the arena before committing to a position.
