Tips & Tricks

Watch the gap you are aiming for rather than the car nearest you — by the time a vehicle is beside you the decision is already made, and the gap is what you are actually driving into. Cross intersections at a constant speed; slowing halfway through is what puts you in the path of traffic you had already cleared.
