About Restaurant Tycoon

Restaurant Tycoon starts you with a small kitchen and grows into a multi-floor restaurant. You hire employees and managers, upgrade kitchens, and speed up the elevator that moves customers between floors. It is an idle game in the proper sense — profits keep accruing while you are not playing — so the decisions are about where to invest rather than about moment-to-moment action.

How to Play

The game is controlled entirely with the mouse cursor, or by tapping on screen. Hire managers, then improve the levels of the elevator, the kitchen and the restaurant itself. Earn coins from customers and spend them to open new floors.

Tips & Tricks

Upgrade the elevator before adding another floor — new floors are worthless if customers cannot reach them quickly, and the elevator is the bottleneck the whole building runs through. Hire managers early; they keep floors productive while your attention is elsewhere, which is the point of an idle game.
