4th and Goal 2022 puts you at quarterback with a playbook to work from. Rather than controlling the whole team continuously, you choose plays and execute them — setting up passes, converting downs and scoring touchdowns. The 2022 entry adds new teams, strategies and team set-ups over previous versions of the series.

How to Play

As quarterback, choose plays from your playbook before each down, picking the option that suits the situation. Execute the play to advance the ball, aiming to score touchdowns and convert your downs. Select different moves to set up passing plays.

Tips & Tricks

Vary your play calls rather than repeating what worked — the defence adjusts, and a play run twice in a row is the one most likely to be read. On fourth down, weigh field position before going for it; converting is worth more than yardage, but a failed attempt hands over the ball where you stand.
