About Abyssal Fish

Abyssal Fish puts you at the bottom of the ocean where visibility is almost nil. You control a large, hungry abyssal fish hunting smaller ones that actively flee from you. Bright fish light small sections of the way, but the darkness between them means survival depends on remembering where the obstacles were rather than seeing them coming.

How to Play

Guide the fish through the dark water, using the light from bright fish to see what is around you. Catch and eat the smaller fish, which try to swim away from you. Memorise the position of obstacles between lit sections to avoid hitting them.

Tips & Tricks

Move deliberately rather than chasing every small fish you spot — the ones that flee will pull you into unlit water where you have no idea what is ahead. When a bright fish illuminates a stretch, spend that moment reading the obstacles rather than feeding, because that information is what keeps the run going.
