About Fishing Boy

Fishing Boy is a busier take on fishing than most — alongside fish there are sharks to deal with, seahorses, starfish, seashells, bubbles, bombs, worms, treasure and gifts to collect. It plays as an arcade collection game with a sea theme rather than a fishing simulation, with a high score as the goal.

How to Play

Use the left and right arrow keys to move, the down arrow key to catch a fish, and the spacebar to use a bomb. On mobile, tap the on-screen buttons to do the same. Collect as much as you can to build your score.

Tips & Tricks

Save bombs for the sharks rather than using them on clusters of fish — sharks are the threat that ends runs, and clearing one is worth more than the extra points a bomb adds elsewhere. Collect the items nearest your line rather than reaching across the screen; movement is what exposes you.
