About Jam Escape

Jam Escape is a sliding-block puzzle in the Rush Hour tradition. Vehicles sit on a grid and can only move along their own axis, and you have to shuffle them until the red car has a clear run to the exit. The roster mixes sedans, SUVs and trucks, whose different lengths are what actually create the traffic problems you have to unpick.

How to Play

Drag cars with your mouse to slide them along their axis and clear a path for the red car. Play levels in sequence or jump straight to any level you choose. Aim to solve each puzzle in the fewest moves and the shortest time.

Tips & Tricks

Identify what is directly blocking the red car first, then work out what is blocking that — solving backwards from the obstruction beats shuffling vehicles hopefully. Trucks are the pieces worth moving early; they take up the most room and have the fewest positions where they are out of the way.
