About LongDog

LongDog is a covering puzzle with one hard rule: your dog stretches as it moves, cannot cross itself, and every empty tile has to be filled. That combination means a route which covers most of the board is still a loss. There are 1,000 generated levels that ramp gradually, plus a hint system for when a board defeats you.

How to Play

On desktop, move the dog with the arrow keys, WASD, or by clicking and dragging with the mouse. On mobile, swipe anywhere on screen in the direction you want to travel. Press the hint button if you get stuck.

Tips & Tricks

Plan the end of the route before the start. Because you cannot cross your own body, the last tile you fill has to be reachable from the second-to-last, and working backwards from a corner is the reliable way to guarantee that. Use hints on the levels that teach a new shape rather than saving them.
