About Tanks for the Nation

Tanks for the Nation is a 2D tank combat game with a genuine roster behind it — dozens of Second World War machines from light Pz. I and T-26 tanks up to Tiger, Panther and IS-3 heavies. Four vehicle classes are available: heavy, medium and light tanks plus tank destroyers, each differing in armour, speed and fire rate. Coins earned in battle buy new models and upgrade your garage across four battlefields.

How to Play

Use WASD or the arrow keys to move your tank, then aim and tap the Fire button to shoot. On mobile, use the on-screen joystick and fire button, and pinch with two fingers to zoom the view in and out.

Tips & Tricks

Match your class to the battlefield rather than always taking the heaviest tank available — light tanks trade armour for speed, and on open ground that mobility is often worth more than the extra protection. Zoom out before engaging on mobile; the pinch control exists because knowing where the other tanks are matters more than seeing your own in detail.
