About Tanks in Space

Tanks in Space opens by asking you to pick a tank model and then a planet to fight on, which sets the terrain for the battle ahead. Your tank advances across that terrain toward the enemy, and combat begins once opposing tanks come into view. The planet choice is the main variable, changing the ground you are manoeuvring over from one battle to the next.

How to Play

Use the WASD keys to move your tank, space to switch weapon, and left-click to shoot. On mobile, use the virtual joystick on screen to drive and the on-screen controls to fire and change weapons.

Tips & Tricks

Switch weapons based on range rather than cycling through them — space is quick enough to change mid-approach, and closing on an enemy with the wrong one loaded wastes your opening shots. Use the terrain of whichever planet you picked for cover; the ground varies between them and standing in the open suits none of them.
