Tic Tac Toe: The Original Game is exactly what the name promises — the classic pencil-and-paper game, also known as noughts and crosses, played on a 3x3 grid. Two players take turns marking spaces as X and O, and the first to line up three in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. It is a filler game and makes no pretence otherwise.

How to Play

Two players take turns marking spaces on the 3x3 grid, one playing X and the other O. Click or tap an empty cell to place your mark. The first player to get three of their marks in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row wins the game.

Tips & Tricks

Open in the centre when you go first — it sits on four of the eight possible winning lines, more than any other square. From there, look for moves that create two threats at once, since your opponent can only block one; that fork is the only way to force a win against someone playing correctly.
